I thiught JVB had an overall good season in 2011. Not every game, but overall I would call it a good season. He still had McNutt to throw to in 2011. It was 2012 when everything went to sh!t on the offense.

It does seem like an odd choice for CBS. It basically had a choice between NW-Neb ILL-Wash Minn-Iowa All 6 teams are 5-2 overall, but I guess the Iowa-Minn game is the only one where both teams are 3-1 in conference games.

This does kinda have a trap game feeling to it. It does not help that Iowa made a bunch of mistakes against PSU and still found a way to win. But as we know, Iowa can't typically make mistakes against a Big Ten team and still win.

I think Iowa has a good chance to beat Oregon at home but it will be tough to also beat USC and Neb on the road. If Iowa loses all 3, the best they can do is 7-5. The key is beat Minn first and get to the off week. Then Iowa can start thinking about Oregon.
