Are Bowl games going to go away?

I hope not. I don't care if you call them bowl games, but I do like adding a non-conference game against, in theory, a team that's similar in ability to you, that you wouldn't typically play. It give the teams and fans a chance to spend time in the south (hopefully), have fun, and play one more...

    PSU and ISU schadenfreude

The Gridiron Club's tweet has been deleted. I love this tweet in response to Hassel's :

THAT'S the picture the Cyclone Gridiron Club posts to show how excited everyone is? I'd hate to see them when they're NOT excited.

"Holding pattern" and "monitoring the situation". Also, may not be allowed, but who cares: Tyler, they are big mad on the ISU board you said "Iowa City" here. Now, go apologize!

    PSU and ISU schadenfreude

I noticed this too. They're in denial that a coach would leave the best program in the nation for PSU. There is quite a bit of talk about it on 247 though. Most of it right now is about the State College/Iowa City quote. And yes, I'm being serious. But they're not our little brother.

    PSU and ISU schadenfreude

I won't share info because it's from an insider site, but on PSU's 247 board, they're talking about what they're hearing from people close to the situation in State College, Iowa City, and at the national level. Poor Ames. At least they still have good water.

    More Nebbie Dysfunction

I just saw a list of college football signees from Nebraska high schools, and there were 21 D1 signees and 11 1-AA signees. Nebby signed 1 of them. That player is rated lower than any of our signees.

I've heard something like that too. I think at this point, PSU will hire anyone. Kind of like when Nebby hired Bill Callahan. They thought everyone would want to coach there. They were wrong. Killed their program.

    More Nebbie Dysfunction

I have no idea about the 2 they signed, but they're both instate kids. Could be their dream to play for PSU no matter what.

    More Nebbie Dysfunction

As it stands right now on 247, PSU is 150th in recruiting, right behind #149 South Dakota State.

    Keep polishing that turd

That said, I really love Iowa's class. I've read a lot about them and what the Iowa and National insiders say about them. There are some early contributors and some future studs.

    Keep polishing that turd

From CyFan: From 247 Sports recruiting rankings: That 1 on the right is for their 1 4-star recruit. FTR, Iowa signed 8.

    Boise State...

If there is going to be one, it'll be Texas Tech. They have tons of big oil money constantly rolling in. They want to keep their budget allocation for their football roster between $55 and $60 million per year. That, along with the fact that they play in a mediocre conference, gives them that...

    all-time rushing yards

That's the correct way to write it. Mathematically, maybe/maybe not, but when you're talking about those 2 and them running the ball, there's never a good time to use positive numbers. As far as Fry's suggestion of using differential equations/derivatives, those involve rates of change. The...
