Well said and I agree with your post. Looking at what the score could have been, it would probably have been 20-16 because we would have just kicked the extra point after the last TD. That would have forced Oregon to score a TD to win the game. So many what-ifs in this game.....

I think it is a combination of Drake not being great in that game and Robert Morris maybe a little better than they were getting credit for after getting beat by Iowa.

This is what I was going to bring up. Most of their players are from warmer and dryer climates. And they are a young team. I agree it won't decide the game but I could see this being a factor. As a fan, I hate rainy game days.

Agree on Oregon. And, a lot of these two loss teams are going to lose another game. The key will be to stay a two loss team.

I remember that Tim Lester had to do a pretty hard sales pitch to get him to come back this year, i.e. he would be more involved in the offense. Which has come true. But I think he is set on jumping to the NFL after this year regardless of any possible eligibility he might have left.

I'm pretty sure Wetjen is set on trying out for the NFL after the season. I wonder if he could try for one more season with the Hawks since the JUCO years have been wiped out, leaving four years of eligibility after the JUCO years are over? I think he has been on the team for four years but...

Temperatures in the mid 50s with a slight chance of rain. And winds at 10-15 mph but in Kinnick that doesn't seem to affect things too much.
