    End of NCAA FBS

Much as we have disdain for the NCAA, it does have some organizational positives. Course, they've also screwed up more than enough to put something like this into motion. Who knows what will happen with this new Alliance? The battle for being "in or out" could be ugly and really screw some...

    OFFICIAL FIRE TIM LESTER THREAD

If Lester crashes and burns (which I hope he doesn't) this should be the official "fire Kirk Ferentz" thread.

Bets that KF hangs it up

Proctor will be here 2 years, maybe 3. Kirk will be here that long, but that may be it.

So is Kevin Johns the guy?

True. Also beginning to look like it's accurate. Some are reporting Lester is the new guy. Classic KFz. Playing not-to-lose rather than playing to win.

So is Kevin Johns the guy?

FWIW on another site a guy who's information has been pretty solid (I know...I said FWIW) says that KFz is having second thoughts about Johns because he may want more control than KFz is willing to give up. Wouldn't surprise me if it's true.

    Hairball leaving Michigan

Yeah, they're still picking the confetti from the NC off their uniforms. I doubt they're too worried. I'll take that over a stale HC who can't find an OC to save his life

Twitter is buzzin' with rumors of Brennan Marion as OC

Don't hold your breath. It ain't changin' much...if at all.

    Kadyn Proctor Speculation

It's all "best guess" simply repeated by multiple people.

    Grim rumors

FFS... "rumors". Old ones at that. One sportswriter says they should go after Phil Parker and it becomes reality. Please.

Jimmy Sullivan Commits to Iowa Football

Yep he as 61.4 before transferring to Michigan, but that only reinforces the point. You'd expect much more dominant numbers from a high school player headed to a P5 school. You can run down the college QBs this year and get all the way to #90 or so and they're still over 60%...

    2024 Quarterback

Kirk is always the last to see it and always waits too long to make a change

    2024 Quarterback

Wonder how many calls/texts he got..."Seriously, why the hell would you want to play for that offense?!"

    Petras to USU

That is an interesting choice. Doesn't look like there's immediate playing time in the cards. Wonder why he chose USU?

    Interesting portal data/chart

Interesting perspective and I tend to agree. I wouldn't say it goes quite so far back as the 80s though...probably a little more recent. One thing for sure. The most recent version of this has taken it to an entirely new level. Plenty of 20 and 30 year olds can't even conceive of having to be...

    KIRK

Hawkeye12345 If and that’s a big IF Iowa wins the bowl game, Kirk is retiring. The HOF means more to him than another season at Iowa. So...what does it say about KFz if this really is on his radar as motivation.
