I like to compare Fleck to Frost, since they were hired around the same time and each went undefeated at their respective schools to garner a better coaching gig. Everyone knows about Frost. But Fleck has done really well with Minnesota. I do know the guy is motivated. Wish we could say the same.

Agree, bad coaching on that front. Kirk had a couple of opportunities to raise the bar, didn't work out.

He did very well, compared to. Just need some lengthy receivers and good protection, and Iowa could actually make some noise.

Iowa has some good pieces. Ive been very pleased with recruiting on the offensive side. Love our RBs, love the TEs, WRs need to be taller, Petras can throw a good ball, Pottebaum.

And Kirk will win 8 games again, all is fine and dandy, nothing changes. Including Iowa's odds of winning a Big10 championship. That is the goal after all?

A lot of good points in here. If you take away the goal of achieving conference championships, Iowa football has been rather enjoyable over Kirk's tenure.

Agree, and he also hired the worst OC in the conference. Kirk has had some good offensive teams, it'd just be nice to see Iowa get over that "hump", that Wisconsin seemed to enjoy for 10+ years.

That is noce. Still think Iowa owes that to Norm Parker and Phil Parker... Not Kirk.
