Didn't Alford have this problem? Called us a football school.

    Iowa basketball fan support

More people living downtown Iowa City would help. But this probably all starts with the students/student section. A packed and rowdy student section would make most games feel different. It's a shame you can't see half of them because they are at the top half of the bowl. Simply moving the...

    Iowa basketball fan support

Let's keep everything the same and imagine Iowa City metro has a population of 340,000 (Lincoln) and Ceder Rapids metro had a population of 880,000 (Omaha). I don't think we'd have a problem then. How many non millionaires actually live near downtown Iowa City that are passionate about sports?

Iowa Basketball Cruises By Hot Huskers

Soo glad Patrick is playing better. Rebounding is going to be key for this team.

    Iowa basketball mens

Since when can Iowa not have a good season? Iowa is a program that will have its ups and downs, that's a fact.

Iowa Targeting January for New OC

Not going to change much, my concern is that the offensive culture has been bad for years. It's going to take time to cycle these players out and bring in that new mindset.

Iowa Targeting January for New OC

I think Kirk doesn't want to show up Brian with a capable offense under the next hire.

Wow what a Pathetic Basketball Game

No issue playing that team preseason. My gripe would be, why play that team neutral site. Awesome idea playing in Des Moines. But not much excitement for the actual game. If Catlin Clark didn't exist, that would have been a snoozer for both games.

So Does The Bandwagon get Going

I feel like against Michigan, he knew we were going to lose that game. In a last ditch effort he decided to make an impact by getting tossed. Coach knows it's going to be sub par year. Don't know if he actually tried coaching throughout the game or just gave up and do what he knows how to do.

So Does The Bandwagon get Going

Fran has done well enough, to not get a bunch of heat this year. We however can still be disappointed in the overall quality of the roster. I do like Freeman, Harding, Krikke. Dembele, Bowen and Dix will get better. All of them need to add 30 lbs of muscle though, lol.

The Good News Coming Out of the Beatdown

I like a lot of our young guys. Obviously missing a post presence. On another note Iowa State and their fans sooo concentrated on beating Iowa in everything.

    Joe Labas

That's the problem. We don't know what he would look like with 3/4 of a year under his belt. We did however get to see that in a first year transfer qb whom was able to learn the playbook in a couple months, and he underwhelmed.

Would have BF been let go this week but for the fair catch call?

After 20 years, dude can find any greener pasture he wants.

    Rumors Swirling: BF is done.

Letting him coach would be irresponsible if this is the case. If he plans on stepping down, it should have been kept quiet.

Keegan with a huge night last night. Love that it was against the Warriors. As Klay Thompson spoke highly of Keegan on his podcast this summer.

    Is Kirk right?

After all the complaining I do, I was still entertained. That is what this is all about.
