This was a devastating loss. Our lower expectations would make it far less painful. They're our rivals, so I admit it made me smile inside to see them go down. But do really feel badly for their fans and the team.

I think the frustration comes from Fran taking over a perennial title contender like Iowa BB and only getting them to the tournament two years straight after making it to the NIT championship the year before that. It's like we're moving backwards in reverse.
