    Sad, sad, sad.......

There is clearly a relationship between spending and recruiting. the same is true for most things in college football. It would probably be impossible to break it down to an equation and it's different for every school but the relationship clearly exists. Given the poor results in recruiting...

    Sad, sad, sad.......

I honestly don't understand your point. Do you really think people are going to try to pick out the sprinkles in the bowl of turds that is Iowa football?

    Sad, sad, sad.......

There really isn't a conversation about Iowa football that matters outside of new coaching candidates. Untill then were stuck on mediocre auto pilot.

I think it was understood that travel is the expense. The point is what there doing isn't working.

    Hey look....Willies to Texas Tech

Dude when all the other anti KF guys say you're wrong, it's probably true. BirdsofPrey is spot on with what he said.

Two questions. Who will be biggest surprise and who will be biggest bust for fb team

Re: Two questions. Who will be biggest surprise and who will be biggest bust for fb Made me laugh.

    Hey look....Willies to Texas Tech

In the end what has Iowa fans frustrated is this is another young guy flashing talent, but who ends up behind older guys and and walkon types all while Iowa plays it safe and loses 6 games against an incredibly easy schedule. You lose the benefit of the doubt when you lose games to ISU, get...

    Hey look....Willies to Texas Tech

Well that's not what I said. And if it happened in 2010 he would have been behind legitimate receivers not Vandeburg and Hillyer who also drop balls and screw up. im not saying he should have quit but to deny Ferentz had any culpability in the matter is beyond what I could believe to be realistic.

    Hey look....Willies to Texas Tech

I disagree with your assessments of Hillyer, Vandeburg and DW. Willies was an excellent blocker and much better at getting open and catching balls than The other two. In the end a wide receivers job is to catch balls and he sure looked better at that to me, and clearly had a level of physical...

    Hey look....Willies to Texas Tech

Those are some points that make sense but on the other hand I don't think he was making any more mistakes than the rest of the receivers besides Smith. I remember KMM essentially making the same mistake twice with that short hot read throw. Vandeburg dropped passed Hillyer dropped TDs in the end...

    Tanner Lohaus

I heard Calipari is trying to get involved by selling him on the one and done concept.

    2015 Recruiting Class

Agree with previous 2 posts. Don't know how anyone could have watched last season and really think Jok will average more points than JU this. Utoff is a likely 1st team all conference player and potential POY, I think most of us would be thrilled if Jok showed enough consistency to make third...

    Hey look....Willies to Texas Tech

Wasnt ripping on your post , just pointing out one of them many absurdities of Ferentz. The guy was probably the most physically talented receiver he's ever had on the team and he wanted to come back but KF wouldn't let him, because he's too proud. all while not being able to even beat ISU and...

    Hey look....Willies to Texas Tech

Cant argue with that logic. No one should want to keep Ferentz around more than cyclone fans. Is there a coach on the planet with a worse record against them?

Sounds allot like last year at this time.

The difference is Cleveland actually broke laws. DW just made KF angry.

    2014 Strength of Schedule #86

This has to be the easiest 5 year stretch of schedule in Iowas history. And thus one of, if not the most dissapointing stretches ever.

Utoff will be the best offensive player next season. Im not really sure what to expect out of Jok next year other than good jump shooting.
