Is that offer from the previous staff or has Fran reaffirmed the offer with Lomomba? I know Junior visited a couple times when Lick was the coach, but I hadn't heard that Fran and the new staff were involved in his recruitment.

I think the Hawkeyes will jump MN, NW and PSU. I also think the Hawkeyes will finish ahead of PSU and NE next season as well. I think a 7th place finish in the B1G is achievable goal for the Hawkeyes next season.

I would love to get Eli and Olaseni. That would round out a nice recruiting class IMO.

I talked to a professional scout about him and he said he is a top 100 caliber recruit, but that he was about 90% sure that the kid wouldn't qualify for the 2011 class and would have to take a prep year and reclassify to 2012.

There is always a possibility that he could ask out of his LOI if Lowe is fired. I'm sure if that happens Fran would be in touch with Tyler's people.

I want both. Iowa needs a 6'10er and a 7-footer. It would shore up the Hawkeyes lack of front-court size for a longtime. Plus, they could both play at the same time if Iowa wanted to go with a big line-up having Woody a center and Meyer at power forward.

I've heard that Creighton and Iowa are the favorites right now, but I also heard that if Notre Dame offered that they would also be amoung his favorites.

A JUCO from Maryland named Tony Hubbard was sitting by Oglesby. Jeremy Morgan (2013), 6'3 guard from Iowa City West/Iowa Barnstormers was there, and Jalen Jones (2014), 6'3 small forward from Clinton/Iowa Barnstormers was also there. I don't think that Wes Washpun was there, but maybe he was.

True, but he is about as close to it as the Hawkeyes are gonna get at this point, so there is reason to be excited. He'd be the highest ranked player the Hawkeyes have signed since Tyler Smith.
