Iowa is getting exactly zilch in bench scoring. They may be trying and even getting a rebound here and there, but at the end of the game and the bench scoring is something like 28-6, you are seriously outgunned. We'll be better next year, but right now, we are seriously handicapped by our bench.

Morris was always shooting off his mouth like a playground star. JBo is quieter and usually just speaks with his on court play. Morris and Niang were punks. ISU has had their share of them. You didn't hear Bruns calling them names because he's a total ISU homer.

Good teams usually have somebody step up, sometimes a guy you don't expect it from. And they also usually come together and play better team basketball. I expect the Hawks will see both happen in this situation. It would be nice to get Patrick back on the court now though.

This board is so negative. I like this team's heart and toughness. Even if we lose a game you can tell these guys are laying it all out there and I respect that. We haven't had a team this gritty in a long time. They are really fun to watch.
