What I would like to see this weekend....

I'm with you on the holding penalties. Typically when you see lots of holding penalties it's because the O-line is overmatched.

What I would like to see this weekend....

Walker, you've got to be a little careful here. It's somewhat of a loaded question. Do you really want to concede or argue Iowa hasn't always had better talent than ISU? If so, then you bring on a whole different set of issues.

    Ferentz's time

That explains the offense's woes. Is our defense changing systems too?

    Ferentz's time

I view Nebraska this way too. Yet, Iowa is 0-4 against Nebby under Ferentz.

    Ferentz's time

I don't see this. I think pride takes too big of a role here (Not to be mistaken with vanity). No way does KF want his career, or at least his career at Iowa to end on two 4-8 seasons. I understand KF is a pretty conservative guy when it comes to keeping his emotions in check, but that doesn't...

    I got a feeling ...

This would not be called stealing a win. This would be called taking care of the games you are supposed to.

After watching Replay - Dline and OLine and how will it bode going forward

In 2011 we averaged 150 rushing yrds per game. (160 per game in 2012) Rushing for 200 yrds against a MAC team and 300 against lower tier D-1aa team isn't worthy of bragging rights. Indiana rushed for 300 against Indiana State, then Navy hung over 400 yrds on Indy the next week. I think our...

After watching Replay - Dline and OLine and how will it bode going forward

I wouldn't say we were overmatched by any stretch. However, our O-line has gone up against two inferior D-lines (I believe most if not all of the NIU d-line were 1st year starters). For those two games we gained a good number of yards on the ground, but we didn't dominate either d-line like we...

    Hawkeyes win...and drop six spots!

I've missed the old OK4Prez. It's fun to see him back at full strength.

    Hawkeyes win...and drop six spots!

Perhaps it was because we didn't cover the spread?

    Over/under

Inexperienced or not if Rudock gets hurt late in the 4th quarter in a game we're leading by 30 KF would have a difficult time explaining that one.

    Over/under

I'd take the under at 2. No way KF plays 3 QBs tomorrow. The better over/under number should be 1.5.

Iowa looking at smallest home crowd in 10 years.

What's the over/under that the University proceeds with the re-seating of Kinnick after the end of this season instead of putting it off another year?

    Gameday Radio

He was looking for a radio station to pick up during the game while he is sitting in the stands at Kinnick. Sounds like it might be an "in-house" frequency transmission and not a bona fide radio station.

This is one of the most important Iowa football games in years!

Not going to happen. No way Iowa loses this game. Worst case scenario is Missouri State keeps it close. If Iowa loses this game then the program is much much worse than we thought. Truthfully, if we lose this game KF should be fired before he makes it to the locker room after the game.

This is one of the most important Iowa football games in years!

I hear what folks are saying about getting reps and getting the monkey off your back regarding 7 losses, but... (Bad analogy alert)... If I'm a struggling 100 meter sprinter trying to get back on track to make the Olympic team, I don't consider a victory in the Special Olympics as a stepping...

Back off the ledge, we are much better than last year!

I'm sure the Weisman play was executed as designed. The theory being Weisman should be able to handle two unblocked lineman. He's a beast! That way we can save our linemen for the more important down field blocks and bust open a big run.
