Tyler needs to get a dunk or two early in the game to get his mojo flowing. He looked he wasn’t in the game mentally and the effort was minimal on defense.
When Iowa gets the transition going they play much better. If the shots aren’t falling in the half court then its going to be a long day. Even with the experienced teams in the past had the same problem.
Just stop doing it. The team is too slow and always out of place defensively. It is only going to get worse once conference season starts when facing better talent and more athletic players.
They are playing in a gym smaller than my junior high school gym. It makes a difference mentally. Playing at home with fan support will make a difference.
