It's funny, yesterday at the game there was some loud-mouthed idiot about four or five rows behind me ragging on Tanner Miller literally every passing play by Missouri St all game long even if the ball was thrown in away from him. Then Tanner Miller made the nice interception in the endzone and...
My interpretation of "good" would fall within a slight deviation from the mean. As long as he's not too much of an outlier (i.e. either too big or too small for the position) then I would say he has good size for the position. If you dislike my use of the word "good", then by all means replace...
Other getting a little stronger, for college, yes. But that was beyond my point. My main point was that he has some issues that could make him a liability playing through a B1G slate, especially while playing for a team that plays at a fast pace.
3.4 turnovers/game is alarming. And only a 67% FT shooter. He would definitely to get better in those two areas before going through a B1G schedule. But as mentioned in this thread, good size, looks to have good quickness and decent enough fg/3pt shooter.
He has a terrific mid-range game but has to become better from 3-pt and has to become a better finisher at the rim. Also, has to be better at fighting through screens and a stronger defender. But I agree he could develop into a decent NBA rotation guy off of the bench. There is still a lot...
I honestly think 1.5 would be a good O/U. One mediocre season + his usual arrogance might be enough to make him a one and done coach. UCLA can obviously do a lot better than Alfraud and they might realize that after next season.
A win on Wednesday would put them into the NIT semifinals which would be played April 2nd. Would that potentially be the first game Iowa has ever played in the month of April? Or were those final four appearances years ago played in April?
The game will be on the 27th according to the bracket on the NCAA website. No time or tv though.
