    Rob Sand Wants Barta Out

What does it say? He's stubborn and outdated or he's a cool dude and knows he doesn't do things wrong? Or something else?

How many of you are having a hard time getting behind this year's Hawks?

You are better than me. I couldn't suffer through much of the latter Lick games though I did some. Cut my teeth on Lute, but I vaguely remember the big blond player from Pella....Larry. I was with the Hawks through about every game from mid Lute on when I was old enough to pay attention...

    Rob Sand Wants Barta Out

Hopefully the right thing will be done what ever that is. I have my opinion, which doesn't count. We don't have full disclosure but ducks that look like ducks are usually ducks. Usually. My grandchildren other grandparents recently rescued a pit pull which has full run. Not wanting to...

    Rob Sand Wants Barta Out

I think in life you do the right thing and live with the consequences or a good part of the time it will come back and bite you. I imagine Barta is already set in life. KF should do the same but he doesn't. The U of I should stand up and do the right thing.... with full information (which we...

    Rob Sand Wants Barta Out

All things said, not much changes. It will ding Iowa some on recruiting, but nothing catastrophic. Some positive changes will be made. Life goes on. 186,000 per person is actually a pretty strong settlement as these things go. This means that there were embarrassing and harmful things did...

    Rob Sand Wants Barta Out

So how does a new hire change this? KF is just going to say "whew" and shape up? Maybe I guess.

    Rob Sand Wants Barta Out

Perspective is this and it took me awhile to learn this with a career between academia and the private sector. The bottom line in business is mostly...the bottom line.... money success. In academia, the bottom line is the process. Barta's criticism will be judged on the process.

    Told ya So

Further.. maybe. Worse...maybe. Fran isn't a great situational coach seen by not isolating certain players from getting the ball late on an inbound down by 3. He is also not a great fundamental coach. Also rewatched parts of it. Nebraska packed in the middle and flew at our perimeter...

Iowa has a tough road in BTT

Beating someone 3 times is hard. Purdue is about amperage the last month. Not so daunting. All the Big is very flawed

How many of you are having a hard time getting behind this year's Hawks?

No not really. No real bad attitudes this year. To me it's the same thing out of Fran. Never bad, never really good. I keep coming back, except for the Lick years.

Come listen to my story about a man named Fred, former clown player, coach's for little red, official early Nebraska @ Iowa game thread

I know this is gonna make some of you mad.... Late in the game, down by 3. If Lute were coaching, who would he work hard to deny the ball? He would have made sure S Hoiberg at 88% ft shooter wasn't going to get the pass. I doubt Iowa thought about that.

They stopped scoring late. They led a lot of the game....snuck a peek. Got caught

No, Iowa has bad defensive posture with hands and feet. Therein is the problem.
