Nate Stanley Confirms: "IowalawWasRight on QB Development"

    What a bunch of bs.

Should Kriener start for Wieskamp at the BIG Tournament?

The guy is working hard on defense it’s his offense that has left him. He needs to shoot more, not less. Every shot he passes up makes the next one harder to make. Maybe it doesn’t get fixed until next year. In which case it will be hard for a IOWA to have much success this postseason.

***Official Hawks Stomp The Ill-Lye-Nye For A Double Bye Game Thread***

My last comment on this game - I sound like Ferentz here, but if Garza had held his screen for a second longer, Fredrick would have had a clean look at the baseline, unless Cockburn comes over on him and then Garza can roll to the rim. I'm talking about execution. Garza jumped the gun a...

Free throws and 3 point shot. Not awful at either, but if he gets better at both, he can carve out an NBA career.

It's been a bad February for Joe. Can't sugar coat it. If he plays like he did earlier in the first half of the BT season, they probably tie for the BT title. But he didn't and the Hawks didn't, so on we go. Hoping for a good BTT effort to re-set this team for the NCAA tournament.

Problems still persist. Amazing they could fight back with JW being of no real help. Fredrick not sharp. Combined 3-13. They need better. Good season? Sure. But disappointing close heading to the BTT and NCAA.

    Big Ten as Usual

It's about timing, those soul-sucking, beelzebubs up in Madison were bad at the beginning, and are now playing well. Iowa loses tonight and they've dropped 3 of the last 4. That's why I think winning tonight is crucial.

    Really, Hawks?

Tomorrow is a must win for Iowa. Lose it and they will have dropped 3 of their last 4. Not a good way to enter the post-season.

Wieskamp needs a Bohannon blood transfusion

I was listening to Fran’s post game press conference and he was saying that Joe is looking for the perfect situation to get his shot off. That ain’t going to happen. The more the opponents understand that, the more they are going to bump him and force him off stride. And he will fade away more...

    Super BAD Tuesday

Don’t get this game. Particularly at this point of the of the season. Purdue had 20 or do offensive rebounds. 25 points off of turnovers. Unacceptable.

Let's say Iowa wins out and wins the Big Ten Tournament, could they get a 3 seed?

To me, it's a real crap shoot this year with seedings. In many years being a higher seed is obvious, but this year, while it doesn't hurt to be a higher seed, I don't think that a higher seed is necessarily better than a slightly lower seed. I expect a lot of "upsets" this tournament...

    Epenesa- Combine

The bench press, I'm not sure what that proves, how many times you can lift the guy off you once you've been pancaked by him? Surprised by the 40 time, particularly with Wirfs going 4.85. Rest of the numbers are okay. Some teams will downgrade, for sure. A lot of teams also downgraded...

    Garza rules

The opponents have ramped up the physical play on Garza. It’s as if they’ve calculated that they know they’re going to give up fouls on Garza but count on the refs not calling fouls every time, so over the course of the game it’s a net benefit to them to pound on him.

Per Mom, This is Riley Till's Last Season at Iowa

I think getting the students (at least some of them) behind the bench would be a good move. The rest could be on the baseline. First come, first served. It would take some reconfiguration, but nothing too drastic. Some season ticket holders would be displaced, but they'd get over it.
