On BTN+ tonight at 7. Josh Dix is out and it explains why he didn’t play much in the 2nd half of the WS game. Not sure the severity of the injury, Fran’s been known to sit em out as a precaution in these early games, hopefully that’s the case here.

The "what is there to play for?" crowd need to realize a couple of things. Everything is still to play for from Iowa's prospective. Win 8 games, believe it or not, guys don't want to go to losing programs. I mean, all things equal right? No one wants to set themselves up for a shitty college...

If only we could do something for these kids to keep them committed to the program and have some sort of obligation to finish out the year. Like, think outside of the box....maybe pay them? I got to do things all the time I don't want to do because I need a pay check.

I have 0 interests unless its a PO game now, I expect most of the players who are looking at the NFL to opt out of the game. My bowl days are over, but I'll always have 2009 Miami!

IMO, that was about as good of performance as you're going to see from an Iowa team, and frankly, it's more impressive to me since most of the starters played less than 25 minutes and we were without arguably our best player. 5 players in double figures, made 13 3's shooting 42%, and Kingsbury...

He’s good and is only going to get better. I like Thelwell too, they’re going to need both. Both will be huge pieces if Iowa is going to be good this season.

Agree. I’m much more confident this year but stilll, they’re likely borderline 20-40 RPI. Pretty beatable on a bad night, especially as roles are still being determined
