Thought I would take a look at this out of curiosity since Fry commented. Yep. It’s the same as all your other posts. I look at about 2 a month and they could all be in the same thread...any thread. No substance...ever.

I think we’re pretty much a lock. Everyone else is using the Portal now. Iowa is like a Top 10 National program for HS kids.

I signed off in mid March...return in November. But the Portal, etc. gives us a lot to talk about. JW, JBo center coming a year early, etc. are all discussion worthy.

What if? What if none of the unknowns are any good? We could play this hypothetical game all day. JBo has far more data to support him being what we expect. And players are a lot less likely to leave if he’s going to be gone next year than if we recruit over someone with a 3 year transfer.

I’m very high on Patrick like many others. Is he limited on PT? I know they have to watch every detail closely with him. Can he play more than 20 minutes a game?

I don’t think it matters if JT struggles at the point. JBo is needed at the 2 and will start at the 2. I have little doubt he’s being brought back to be a high volume shooter. I think/hope JT will do very well. But if he struggles it will be Connor or Ulis starting at the 1 not JBo.

I don’t care if he’s 6’5” and 205...as long as he plays like (a talented) 6’11 and 265.

2 things... 1 - This conversation has taken place in countless other threads. 2 - The only thing different is you’ve put limitations on allowable responses which eliminate the ability to respond honestly and accurately.

Something like this... JT/Ulis JB/Perkins Perkins/Connor Patrick/Keegan Keegan/Portal Guy I like the mix of experience and youth with the starters. I like Connor and the transfer with young guys on the 2nd team. Then Kris, the Brit and 2 incoming freshmen are unknown variables. Side Note -...

If Connor can revert to his sophomore stats he’ll be in the rotation...and should be IMO. 78% FT 34% 3pt Throw in his low TOs and leadership/experience/ball handling and he’s on the floor at least 25 mpg. Good luck trying to press us!

I was against it. But now I’m good with it...playing the 2 and no CJ. He can help us most everywhere but on defense. Don’t forget his FT shooting is probably worth a couple wins.
