I think we can give them some credit for cleaning up their act. Drummer and I were there in 1981, I've posted about this before. The most shocking behavior (including open racism) I've ever seen at a CFB game. Thought we were in rural Alabama circa 1955. But they handled this year's game week...
The linked quote does not say or even imply he "celebrated" a serious injury to Tate.
I'd say the douchenozzle is you, for mischaracterizing his quote.
The tone is a bit chippy and defensive, somewhat contradicting the title, but it served to draw people's attention... and then Jon nails it with the substance. Herbie in particular "got" this, and was complimentary on Twitter.
Final grade: well done, Jon.
It's a message board, Amina, taking ANYTHING you read here overly seriously is a mistake. Welcome. It's great to be a Hawkeye.
Sure, Iowa has a shot. A great D means you always have a shot, even against OSU.
Iowa is #4 in rushing defense, #10 in scoring defense and #23 in rushing offense.
We're only #81 in passing offense. Yet that's ahead of Utah, and just 2 slots behind Ohio State (!)
Defense and run game win championships.

I was hoping, as I always do (and am usually right) that Notre Dame was overrated. After watching them last night, they have a strong QB, terrific backs (Prosise #6 in the nation), and a batshi* amazing receiver in Will Fuller. Defense, not so much.
But, at least it's at Pitt.
Good thread. Looks like the new role gave Brian the freedom to build and teach the running play portfolio, delegating that piece from Greg Davis.
