Are you personally worried about getting the Coronavirus?

Yes, those numbers are US only. And they've been updated over the last couple hours. Usually if you wait until 9am to check, the numbers from yesterday are pretty solid. Now being reported that confirmed cases in the US for March 29 was 19,913. Deaths at 363. So confirmed cases are now nearly...

If you need some March Madness

CBS is showing classic NCAA games today and tomorrow. 1982 championship game on now. My God these teams were loaded. I can't argue with guys leaving early and skipping college all together over the last 25 years. I'd want to get paid too. But damn this era was so much better than today's game...

    Coaches during down time

I think the coaches will have an awful lot of downtime. I'm guessing we might still be trying to flatten the curve come football season.

The Worst Part of the Season Ending

Yeah ESPN & FS1 are going to be hard up for content over the next couple months. ESPN is probably in better shape, the have a huge library of classic games in pretty much every major sport, particularly basketball that they can show and their 30 or 30 series is the highlight of their network...

Are you personally worried about getting the Coronavirus?

I'm very worried about a few things: 1. The vulnerable family members I have but thats been the case for a few years now. When they get sick its scary. 2. When tests are ready a lot of people are going to get them and a lot of people are going to test positive, even though their symptoms are...

Howe: Sports Fans Lose Their Escape But Student-Athletes Deprived of Dreams

So what about this site and local news sporting coverage?

Maybe that's the silver lining here? All the sports argument shows will be dead so when football starts back up in August, it will just be sports news. Maybe ESPN will even be watchable again?

I hate to say it, but

Fair point but the NBA is the key here. As they push back, the NCAA follows. They aren't going to cancel their playoffs unless its an absolute last resort. They'll need to start the playoffs by July to finish a normal one and if they go to best of 3 or best of 5 for the first few rounds they...
