    Who’s Going To Wrigley?

I didn't say that the neighborhood around Soldier was great. I said that the football stadium is a better place to watch a football game. My personal opinion... I think watching football games in baseball stadiums is not the best way to watch a football game. Feel free to disagree. I love...

    Who’s Going To Wrigley?

How can I disagree with the eloquence of "butthole"? lol I used to live in Wrigleyville, pal. I know every bar on Southport! I agree that the atmosphere is much better in the Neighborhoods. Watching the game, though? Soldier Field is much better. It's a modern football stadium...

    Who’s Going To Wrigley?

This may not be a popular opinion, but playing at Soldier Field would be much better to watch a football game. In other news, have you guys seen the NW football stadium upgrade plans? They are going to put a ton of money into that place. If the results are anything like their training...

    Who’s Going To Wrigley?

I might consider coming because I really enjoy Chicago. I would have to fly there, so I'm not sure I'll do it. Having said that, Chicago would be a great city to fly to without a car, stay downtown, and take the redline to addision. Super convenient and can also hang out downtown. Tempting...

    The world we live in...

Agree, it's unfortunate. Having said that, the last time I checked, the US leads in per capita CO2 production by far. I hope the party of personal responsibility is aware of that and doesn't just blame "Gyna".

I could ask my brother and report back. He writes grants for wind and solar farms. He knows a ton about this, and I admittedly know very little.

    The world we live in...

I hear you. I wish we could all come together and talk about building infrastructure, etc in a way that is reasonable and not completely political. But, here we are. Wouldn't it be great if we could all be a bit more open to learning about this? I'd turn on the news every night if they...

    The world we live in...

There's a much bigger picture than current state ROI, IMHO. I totally appreciate that emerging technologies aren't where we need them to be...yet, but we cannot bury our heads in the tar sands forever. It's not political when it ultimately affects us all.

Good point for going big on solar and wind in California. Especially solar farms in the desert. Excellent point.

The windmills are the same right? The ones now vs the old farm ones? What percentage of energy does Ioway get from wind now? Do you know?

Your newest rhetorical device is "LMAO." Your troll game is getting soft, bro. Weren't you one of these clean coal advocates years ago? Now it's clean gasoline? At least you're advancing. I'd love to go back a decade and see what some of you were saying about climate change back then. I...

Iowa currently sitting at 6 Q1 wins with another on tap Saturday

I don't know about you, but I'm really enjoying this season. Lots of unknowns, unusual heroes each game, and a lot of action. Go hawks.

Iowa currently sitting at 6 Q1 wins with another on tap Saturday

Very weird! We lost to the teams that are usually at the top, but at the bottom. And, we're beating teams that are near the top, but usually at the bottom. I was totally pumped we beat Rutger and NW. They are good teams. Weird, right?

    Brian isn't going anywhere

Great points. If this team (nepotism, hx of some toxicity in the program leadership, and a miserable offense), was in most any other state, no one would go to the games. People in Iowa often don't appreciate that. It's part of what I love about Iowa (loyalty) but there isn't a lot to do in...

    Brian isn't going anywhere

First off, I really appreciate your posts. Secondly, I agree that in modern day college football, fortunes can change very quickly for programs. Nothing is a given. IF Iowa can reasonably upgrade on offense and have an average offense that scores 21 points or a little more per game, they...
