Another fun part: I had to take a friend to the ER a few weeks ago with appendicitis. He had to wait 24 hours for surgery (UIHC) because there were no spare beds. Glad I'm not a medical worker. It's been hell for them the last two years.

I know at least 4 people younger than 35 that have not had taste or smell for a year or more. Two of them still have lungs that havent recovered their capacities. Everybody talks about death as if that's the only negative outcome of severe covid. There are many.

From the temperature of the board over the years it seems like many wouldnt want him to come back. I would happily take him back, the intangibles he provides to this team are worth it IMO. The numbers dont accurately reflect what he means to this team.

Two surgeries? Being surrounded by better defenders? I'm sure both play a role. Could also be effort, as somebody else mentioned he realizes his career is coming to an end and he wants to leave everything on the floor.

Hah, not really. I took a lot of high end math courses, actually took calc 3 and diffeq as electives. Not going to get into that here though.

Oh I'm not what would be considered a "US Libertarian", but definitely from the school of thought that the government shouldn't control our lives (to the extent that what we do doesn't affect others).
