Bill Snyder reportedly wants Sean Snyder as replacement

Offhand, the only one I can really remember is Joey Meyer taking over for Ray Meyer at Depaul (basketball). The younger Meyer was given quite some time but could never come close to matching his father's success.

Best game I have ever seen at Kinnick

I know I don't post here much, but I've been an Iowa fan since the early 70's (having graduated then from Grinnell College). I don't believe I have seen a more perfect game from start to finish. Just an amazing game!

By the rules - right call on Wadley

That was none other than the worst NFL ref in history, Jeff Triplette. He hit RT Orlando Brown of the Cleveland Browns in one of his eyes, throwing a flag on a false start, and it wasn't even Brown who committed the false start. Brown ended up with vision problems in that eye for quite a long...

A lot of people question the Easley-fumble-touchback rule

Actually, that occurred at the end of the game, when Stabler intentionally fumbled into the end zone with his team trailing and on 4th down. Stabler had nothing to lose by fumbling forward(he was getting sacked as it happened). But the NFL changed the rule the next year. In the last two...
