Do we want Iowa State to win tonight?

No, it was from the money Anthony Hubbard gave me from his holdup.

And by a bunch, do you mean 3 in 3 years? By my count, the only troubled transfers were Allen, Lucious, and White. And they were far from troubled at ISU.

He was a convicted felon that served hard time. If you accepted his attempt at redemption, but not someone like Chris Allen or Korie Lucious, something is wrong. Hate to tell you, but Hoiball is working, and working well.

So your problem is with transfers or just those that leave on bad terms? And if it is the latter, does it not matter if they become model citizens at their new school? None, none of the ISU transfers has had a problem. Were you outraged when Hubbard transferred to Iowa?

That works for me. I am assuming you are/were against Uthoff becoming a Hawk?

Do we want Iowa State to win tonight?

Yeah, at that time, he didn't have a dreamy coach that talented dudes wanted to play for.

Do we want Iowa State to win tonight?

No, just admitting that Hoiberg knows how things work. Transfers are part of the game now. No one in their right mind would deny that it has been a overwhelming success. NCAAs in 2 of 3 years? Sign me up.

Chalk up another one that dislikes the Big Dance!

On campus for two years. Fran couldn't keep Hubbard on campus for a few months.

Probably right, you aren't very articulate.

    Compare Resumes: Iowa and ISU

I'm being totally honest. I would trade a loss to the Hawks for making the Dance any time. And I suspect any sensible Hawk fan would do the same if the situation were reversed. Granted, I would love both, but the ultimate goal is to make the Dance, not win a non-con game in December.

I'll take that every year if it means the Big Dance. You guys were our Drake this year.

If so, it is sad. Most fans I know at least know who is on the team.

% of Tavernhoks in your area

I don't have a problem with people who are fans of the team that didn't go to the school, but I do have a problem with those that like to claim bragging rights, rub it in, etc. that have no frigging idea who the QB is, what the team record is, etc. If you want to have the privilege of talking...

****OFFICIAL Iowa vs Dorks Game Thread****

I have watched them all, and I understand your point. He has been real bad. I just think this is the game he gets his confidence back and it carries over to the rest of the season. Maybe I should say this is the game where he begins winning everyone back.

I think this game is a close one, but RDM will return to form, have a big game, and be back in everyone's good graces.

Basabe Likely to Start vs Penn State

This may end up working out just fine, but I would worry about him picking up a couple of quick fouls and being out of the flow of the game. Sure, Woodbury can and does do the same thing, but at this point, having him sit for much of the half doesn't hurt you as much as if Basabe sits...

Basabe Likely to Start vs Penn State

I can see why they need a shakeup in the lineup, but I would worry about not having that instant energy off the bench. Will be interesting to see how it works.

    Fan expectations being too high...

    Fan expectations being too high...

No dispute there. But Iowa gets all the bottom feeders late. My point is that while the B10 is great at the top, they are not so great at the bottom, comparable to the B12,and that is where Iowa gets to feast. Ryno talked about all of the "easy" wins that ISU gets... I countered that Iowa gets...
