    Miller / Deace this morning

I agree... I believe we are much improved from the beginning of the season. ISU has gone the other direction (although admittedly I don't watch any of their games save one, but do see the scores/record/standings as they scroll by on ESPNews and Sportscenter).

    Why All the Complaining

+1, great view and rational. I am neither for Lick or against him either... I would like to see what he can do when he gets some horses in here, but this years recruiting class (Brust, Marble, etc.) better be horses fast because he may not have much more time. That being said, here is why...

Iowa BBall... Who's Deserves the Blame?

Good questions... I guess it goes back to the question of success. It is unquestionable that Iowa fell back in the 90s after some success in the 80s, and Alford was brought in to take us to the next level (wish we new which direction, but hindsight is 20/20). So lets take a look (source...

I like Carver, we have enjoyed a home court advantage there I understand, but it is a much more sterile environment than the Fieldhouse...

Iowa BBall... Who's Deserves the Blame?

My OP was not to blamestorm really... It was to point out that there are systematic problems with our bball program that go way further up the chain than our coach, not necessarily all with Barta. I think the problems started in 1990 when Bump Elliot left and Bowlsby took over. There has been...

Iowa BBall... Who's Deserves the Blame?

Let me be the thousandth person to say that the anti and pro Lickliter stuff is mind numbing at best... Apologies for the long post (speaking of mind numbing). But the state of my beloved Iowa BBall program is at or near an all time low. But why? Is it Lickliter? Alford? Mr. Davis? Barta...

Thru 7 Games: Who is Iowa's MVP?

I would have to go with Pat Angerer. He is the quarterback of the d, sets the defense, and makes some plays. The defense has been winning us football games. Angerer is my pick.
