Are you serious? The staff was too busy simultaneously tending to sick players and completing an outstanding recruiting class to waste time with a few no-talent "journalists". The "journalists" will get their info after the important work has been completed.

I wouldn't say successful organizations have learned how to adapt to it. The business world is full of companies that have had horrible PR and continue to do quite well.

Todays' media is tremendously full of itself. The story is no longer what happened (reporting the facts), it's how those involved reacted (tabloidization) and, even worse, how those involved interacted with the media (we the media are the real story!).

I think it's good to be critical of any new coaches recruiting. Lick and his lack of recruiting buried this program.

Wegher wasn't very good. The guy only averaged 4.0 yards per carry, which is easily the worst among all the running backs that have had significant carries for the Hawks over the last 6 years.

It's possible. Especially when you consider this... Daniels said he knew the victim but kept his distance because she was "was overly friendly with everybody." Anybody care to explain what Daniels meant by "over friendly with everybody"?
