i'm pretty sure coach had no problem w/ them getting penetration to the hoop. so many good things happen when you can get in the lane, unfortunetly we didn't get the call or make the play. but it doesn't come down to this one play anyway. it is what it is, we had many other chances and failed.

and i highly doubt 95% of the time its a bad thing when matt drives the lane.

may is/was also shooting 53% from the FT line. just saying

there was absolutely nothing wrong w/ his drive, he was aggresive, it was good penetration and a good shot attempt. there was a questionable call of no foul. gatens need to drive and get opportunities to go to the line, spot up shooters never go to the line.

We lost, we missed opportunities, they took advantage of them etc... That happens in sports, It is not one person, or coach or one part of the teams fault. Wisc was the better team today and yes it hurts. Time to re-focus and get after the Spartens next Sat. GO HAWKS!!!!!!!

no reason not to let him try out. helps in practice at the very least if he is what he sounds like.
