I really like the speed of our linebackers. Morris and Kirksey both ended up with 10 tackles each. I know the competition was weak but thier coverage of recievers was solid as well. This is really going to pay off against all of the spread teams and quick qbs we play this year.

from what i could tell the kick coverage was good. there is a lot of young guys and they are flying down the field to make a play. the only problem i saw was the kicks were not going too deep, that may have been weather related.

I would almost prefer that isu dominated the game today. They are going to come into next week with confidence they don't deserve due to the comeback win. On the other hand it would have been nice to see iowa play in dry weather. When it was wasn't pouring today serious points were put on...
