Thanks Reeon...I was hoping someone out there could dig up some info about this. There was not much out there that I was able to find about Iowa's status with him. Never thought about the Katenda aspect either.

I posted that 'rumor' about him not coming based on the Cartwright signing...But stressed RUMOR...If he is on the PTL roster, then I would bet he is still coming too!

Seriously...If this is true, a lawsuit because they are not getting attention??? Wow! Pathetic! Texas, Kansas, Neb, etc are still the same school, just with a potential new conference label...And I cannot see any reason why this would hamper their ability to get MONEY after the NFL draft!

He's a 6'7 SF from Minn, who apparently had a visit this past weekend. Seems to have gone unnoticed with the Cartwright situation...But got a highlight video of him. Decent outside shot, agile and quick for his size, and definitely loves attacking the rim. Maybe he was one of the other guys...

Playing a zone defense seems realistic. Against teams that have bigger size, IMO, it is the only way for Iowa to stay competetive. Giving guards more freedom to help out in the middle might help to force turnovers with big men having to pass back outside, when the guards drop down for token...

Although, I have heard the rumor, and I stress rumor, that McCarty might not be coming because of Cartwright...Supposedly cause they told him they were not going after another point guard and he could earn the back-up role.

And just think, since Cartwright signed, "White Magic" won't have to suit up and play PG in the team practices :)
