Wojcik's resume is the most complete.

I don't buy the "this is not a high profile job" excuse. Yes, this program isn't where it once was, but I guarantee you that with the right person this program can be tough again in no time. The school is located close enough to Chicago to pull talent from there. You get a coach that can...

How did Butler fans react to the Lick firing?

I believe they responded by going to the Final 4!

Barta has an Ace up his Sleeve

I'm holding out hope that that is true.

When the new coach is announced...

I've watched this board and TOS for years. I don't post often but have more posts that the number indicates. Not sure what happened there. FYI I don't "tweet" either so I guess that makes me somewhat less credible. I love it how some posters think they are somehow more knowledgeable because...

    basketball uniforms

I agree. I would especially like to see the gold ones changed back to white. It was better when the gold unis were just brought out for special games.

When the new coach is announced...

everyone needs to be on board with whomever gets hired. We all have our ideas or preferences of who the next coach should be. None of us knows if the next coach will be able to resurrect this program so we have to give him and his staff a chance. It is in the best interests of all Hawk fans...

    How much???

For the right coach, I think Barta will exceed that $1.6-$1.8M per year range. I don't think he can afford to go cheap this time around. In the long run his job security may be tied to this hire.

    Updated lists of coaching canidates

    1. Drew 2. Dixon 3. Forbes That's assuming Pearl is off the board.

    New facilities...

Is there a link to a a website that has architect illustrations of the new basketball facilites? I would sure think that Barta has detailed illustrations to show off to prospetive coaches.

Why aren't we hearing more about Paul Lusk?

My guess is that everyone is focusing on a current head coach. Forbes might be getting a little attention from the assistant coach perspective because he's supposedly lobbying for the job. If the head coach pool falls through, I'll bet we'll start hearing a lot more about guys like Lusk and...

Tucker wants to stay @ Iowa...

I agree. I would say it was the other way around. Tucker threw his team under the bus when he messed up the SECOND time!! It's time to move on, Anthony. If any of the current players don't like that then follow Tucker out the door. There is not one player on this team that is bigger than...

Tucker wants to stay @ Iowa...

I say Tucker has run his course at Iowa. Both sides need a fresh start. Tucker ****** away his chances by getting the second alcohol-related incident. He might be a good player but I'm hoping our new coach has a better talent pool from which to choose.

    I hope the new coach....

I hate the yellow ones...go back to white.

    Does this irritate anyone else...

Funny that Mr. Davis Davis could find ways to win under the same circumstances. Mr. Davis actually developed players. If a coach can turn Acie Earle and Les Jepsen into NBA draft picks then he can flat out coach. I don't recall one player developing into a better player under Alford. Not one. I...

    How about this scenerio...

Hire Gillespie as head coach and have him entice Forbes to join him again as assistant/recuiting coordinator. Gillespie gets the second chance he desires and Forbes gets to his home state...possibly to succeed Gillespie when he leaves for another job.

Rome: Kelly a better choice than Ferentz

I heard it too, Ghost. I'm not sure how long ago it was, but he said it.

Rome: Kelly a better choice than Ferentz

I think Pam Ward is a better fit for a tv/radio show than Jim Rome. Take that, Jim.
