Chris Klieman, Kansas St. head coach is retiring after this season. He played at UNI and coached North Dakota St. prior to Kansas St. Kind of surprising.

Potentially another spot for Penn State to have to compete against for a coach. Awesome. LOL.

Didn't surprise me. I heard that this was his last stop. And they don't seem to have much momentum. Maybe he sees the changes necessary to compete at the highest level and thought the better of it.

Kansas State had a disappointing year that had high hopes before the season. Klieman broke down a litt bit after their final game defending the program and his players. Sounds to me as if he just had had enough. I can't blame him. Every fan base has unrealistic expectations and Kansas State is no different. He was a solid coach and did some nice things there. Has enough in the bank to ride into the sunset, good for him.
