Everyone was making such a huge deal out of not converting 3rd downs. It would be a big deal except the offense scored 3 TDs on 1st downs all over 10 yards, 1 over 30 yards and one nearly 75 yards. Yet Iowa has no playmaking ability or immediate scoring threats?

I am hoping we see a dose of Wadley similar to what happened in 2012 with Melvin Gordan.

He played last week and came off the field a little limpy. Something the cameras didn't show. No need to put himin if something is nagging and save him for the Title game. My best guess.

It didn't seem we didn't blitz much which gave Leidner so much time. If we could have knocked him around more it would have been different. Wish we had Ott.

Those were great uni's. The only issue was the helmets. It should have been matte black. It seemed a little off under the lights. I would like the helmet design to stay forever. No more yellow strip and the new ANF sticker is pretty neat.

#1 tOSU needs to go undefeated and we need to beat them. If tOSU limps in to Indy with a loss to Michigan or someone else and we beat them it may not mean as much if we beat them. By all accounts looking at the other schedules we could be high as #5 by the time we enter Indy.

Love the 12 and I am believing in this team. Have a hard to accepting that we are not #10 over a team that got beat at home that we just dominated on the road.

Agree. I would not be surprised if we start the season 0-3.

At least we played with some heart. Ever since he softened up so has the team. I'll take the T's and lose that way instead of the way we have been losing lately.

Nothing else is wrong with the team but for whatever reason they are not clicking and it is just a mental thing right now. Unfortunately time has run out to fix this.

I agree 100%! There is something going on here and this team is not playing like a team and they are all individually trying to do their own thing. Here are my 10 things 1. Too much 1 on 1 2. The picks are lazy by the picker and the ball handler 3. Movement without the ball is horrible...

As lopsided as the calls were in Iowa's favor you have to wonder if Izzo picked up on Iowa's other losses and its poor performance at free throw shooting and decided he was going to make Iowa beat him at the FT line?
