The 3rd down play call was worse than the FG decision. 3rd and 5 and they try to throw to McCarron up the seem. That was clearly two down territory in that situation. Stack the receivers and hand it off to Wadley.

I don't know many coaches that would pull their best on the ball defender when he gets two fouls and sit him for 15 minutes. Stuff like this is maddening, but the program is in a lot better shape than when he arrived.

Missing free throws late (they all do it) is more maddening than the last second shot issue.

This is a huge issue and I think played a part in Woody struggling so much this year. He's running around outside the 3 point line and isn't able to get back in time anymore. His legs are toast right now and that is potentially impacting his already below average ability to finish and shoot free...

I would definitely mix the press in for a lot of the game. Illinois had issues handling it in both halves. I think the line-up with the younger, more athletic group would be a good time to throw that at teams. Let those kids give 110% for a 5 minute stretch.

Why didn't they press most of the 2nd half? The younger players are long and athletic and that press worked when they ran it. Sapp has been pretty solid all year. I feel bad he saved his worse game for the B1G tourney.

And they shot 33% because their shot selection sucks. Woody is limited, but they still need to try and get him the ball down low as he can pass. Fran also needs to try and get Uthoff some mismatches down low so he can use his length.

I stand corrected. That said, I'm guessing the odds are infinitely lower for high school athletes. The high school player that gave his name also played rugby.

CTE related deaths are likely non existent in high school kids and my son likely would never play beyond that level, so I'm okay with him playing now. I do think the NFL is culpable when they refuse to test players for "stuff" that makes players bigger and faster.

Michigan sends players to the NFL as well. He's 45 minutes from home.....instead of 9/10 hours. It's easier on his family relative to seeing him play. Harbaugh has won everywhere he's been. I could go on.
