Did anyone else see.....

I think it was in the 4th qtr, 4th down and JVB was flushed out of the pocket and on the run. Im not sure who it was but looked like Davis on a corner route. As JVB was looking down field, the WR had already given up on the play and wasnt even looking back to see what happened. He was also at a slow trot, completely taking himself out of the play. Hope KF sees it and sits him for the last game.

I agree it shouldn't happen, but when you never throw the ball more than 5 yards, the receivers kind of give up hope of see the ball once they get too far down field.

THE PLAYERS DO NOT QUIT, BRACH.

Can u blame them when the ball is thrown into the flat a yard down the field to the guy who is covered like a blanket. Yes I noticed this as I have noticed guys open down the field all year. It is why our opponents no longer waste time playing a deep safety in the middle of the field.

Who is to blame I am not sure until I see another QB play for a couple of games.

Having him run deep routes is like crying wolf, eventually you grow tired of the instructions (warning).

Did anyone else see late in 4th quarter of the Purdue game when it was 4th and 3 with the game on the line? The ball was snapped, and everything seemed to go according to plan; Vandenberg threw the ball the best he could, Zach Derby caught it and was subsequently tackled to end the play. It was a complete pass and we only had 3 yards to go, we had to have gotten there, right? WRONG.

The play looked to only be designed to get a single yard!

Was this the worst play call of the year?

That would be a entirely other lengthy thread.

This happens 3 - 5 times a game (however, it is usually on 3rd down instead of 4th).

The WR did not stop the play, it was designed that way to take focus off of Vandenturd.
