Top 100 players...

I saw this the other day. Not sure I agree on Craft at #12.
He's a great leader, amazing on the D end, but other than that, he's an average offensive player.

Would I want him starting at PG for my team? Absolutely, but I think #12 is high.

I think he is vastly overrated on the list, there are two PG's I would take other than Mike Gesell...Trey Burke and Isiah Canaan.

Now, I am not saying White should be on the list, but how is Branden Dawson on this list over him, but they to have Dawson No. 41, are you kidding me? White/Zeller/Burke outperformed him all last season, it is mind boggling...also can't believe how many freshman are so high on the list, not every freshman is Anthony Davis.

White's not in the top 100 of all players in the country.

I realize they are different sources, but consider this. Half way through last season, ESPN had AW as the #15 freshman in the nation. AW had a fantastic second half of the year as he was able to log more minutes.

There are 22 sophomores on this list. So, 7 other players (maybe more as I can't recall if any freshmen declared last year) in his class somehow passed him in the second half? I call BS on that one. Either ESPN had him overrated at 15, or CBS has on some blinders. I don't think ESPN had him over-rated. He truly was the #3 freshman in the B1G last year. Without question.

True, not every freshman is Anthony Davis, but 5 of the top 10 draft picks were freshman last year. There's only 4 freshman in the top 30 - honestly seems a little low to me unless we're talking about a really weak freshman class.

LOL, herby alt.

I think McDermott can have a nice NBA career, ala Wally Szczerbiak. Not a star but a solid role player.

I think Craft is properly rated....he can score if needed and this year,it will be needed. His defense is great, and that is half the game. His leadership and moxie make him a winner. We can hope that Gesell has those attributes also, but need to see it in action before assuming anything.

Dawson is a stud, and if he is healthy,he belongs on that list. He will get a lot of shots this year.

I really think Iowa is an ensemble crew, without any real stars that belong on this list..yet.
