Mildcats lose 76-55. If we get there, Washington will be tough. Full house tonight. They have NIT fever in Seattle.

We wouldn't see Washington until NYC. They're a 1 seed.

If Iowa wins Sunday we play Washington in the Quarterfinals. So we have to play in Washington.

I know the semis and championship will be at the Garden.....
Thought the quarters would be played elsewhere, like in Seattle for Iowa/Oregon.....

I do not expect a drop-off for NW next year.
They will be a deeper team.
Cobb has been their best player the last few games.
Crawford,Cobb,Sobolewski,Hearn,Marcotullio have all started a number of games,and shoot the 3 at a 40%+ clip. They add a redshirt,Demp,who was their best recruit last year,but was injured this year. They add a transfer big man from TCU who sat out last year,and a couple of other big men recruits,along with Abrahamson.
First half of the Big Ten season, NW was playing with six scholly players who were healthy and lost a bunch of close games,but after Marcotullio and Cobb got back,they were tough.
I see them fighting Iowa,Purdue and Illinois for that 6th and 7th spots in the tourny next year.
As for Washington...scary.

I didnt see the game but the box score on ESPN shows an attendance of 5,761. What am I missing?

I don't know. They list the capacity at 10,000 but they panned the crowd throughout the game it looked pretty darn full to me.

Yeah, the place appeared to be jammed with boisterous fans.....
Maybe supporting the Huskies for winning the regular season conference title, and getting snubbed in the Dance. Sure seemed to be a NCAA tournament caliber team to me. Of course, it was at home, but it was against NW, which is a good team.....
