Badgers struggle offensively? NEWS???

University of Wisconsin Badgers men's basketball team struggling on offense | Herald Times Reporter | htrnews.com

When were the Badgers EVER dominant offensively? They have always struggled offensively!

They have not always struggled offensively. They are in serious danger of posting the worst shooting percentage and worst ppg marks in Ryan's tenure.

The offensive style Ryan prefers isn't necessarily conducive to lighting up the scoreboard. But to say they are struggling is to say they are having trouble doing what it is they want to do. And in most years, they do EXACTLY what they want to, and it works. This year, they're having trouble doing what they want to.

I understand the Badger mentality of not wanting to light up the scoreboard because they want to not let the other team light up the scoreboard!
The Badgers are averaging 63.9 points per game, slightly better than the 63.8 points the 2008-09 team averaged.
When a team PLANS to struggle offensively, doesn't mean they aren't struggling offensively.
I seriously doubt they wouldn't take 72 points per game instead! The problem is they play "chickenSHEET" basketball. They are coached to bog down and force other teams to get bothered by the lack of scoring.
To beat the Badgers you force them to play normal basketball.... or not let the low scoring output bother you into forcing the action that isn't available.
They are overrated. Compared to their miserable history it has been outstanding for them... therefor acceptable... heck... beloved!

The Badgers are generally efficient which means they aren't struggling offensively. They are just playing at a slower pace.

This. They are not very efficient this year (see: lowest shooting percentage since Ryan's first year).
