Colin Sleeper sent home..







That's what many were reporting on the pay site. He was probably the last person I would expect this to happen to. It really cuts us short at safety, and if Miller or JB goes down we coach may have to move Hyde over and bring Lowery in at corner. If Miller and JB don't have any issues though, this isn't really a huge loss. Just another shovel of crap to put on top of the pile.
 


Sure it hurts more than that Iowa is playing Oklahoma with a month to prepare you think Iowa is just going to play base coverage ? Only four true cover guys ?
 




What an idiot...have we ever had someone sent home/suspended at bowl site? He had to have been patrying or something like that....ugh.

my guess would be that hyde would shift to safety and lowery would come in with how much nickel hes played. but i could also see law play so only 1 player is new to their position. law has impressed on sp teams so i would prefer him as the option.

Lomax and Law have both seen plenty of action. I doubt they try to do some whole sale changing. Lowery could also be called on to cover in the slot.
 


This is an unfortunate situation, dont know what he did but cant be good to get sent home I wouldnt think.
It does hurt on special teams, Sleeper plays on kick coverage and that has been a problem area recently.
If one of the safeties go down Law will get some time, they likely will not move Hyde back to safety, that just wouldnt make sense.
