I thought I told you already: my house is on a slab; I have no basement. Basements are uncommon in NC due to the soil conditions.
I am sitting in my great room with the michigan-illannoy game on the HD, posting from my toshiba portege.
My mother has been dead since 2002 and even before that I didn't spend time in the basement of her house, because I had my own house up in Rhode Island. That one didn't have a basement either, but it had a crawl space.
Anything else you want to know?
