So, I played a little D in my day, but know my limitations on the X's and O's. Looking forward to your analysis and maybe some extra insights other than the player breakdown.

What kind of D were we running out there?, wasn't able to watch, only listen via radio as I was driving. Do we have a shot against the likes of Martinez and Robinson if we make Gray look like Persa?

I will hold my criticism of the staff until I see your stuff. Thanks for doing a great job.

Iowa just isn't a good football team.
IMO under Ferentz this is how it goes:
If you prcatice hard and you don't cause problems you play. Once you earn a starting position you are locked in unless Christ himself personally ***** slaps the coaching staff.
IF KF is actually calling the whole game(O plays, D plays Special teams) then he really isn't a Head football coach. I think he delegates most of these tasks.
He has a defeatist mentality is recruiting He still gets some decent players but if you think your trailer trash thats the way you'll be. Its OK to know we don't have the same amount of the glitz and glamour that say Alabama or LSU has but you don't proclaim it to the kids.
KF is loyal to more than a fault. Norm has done some special things while coaching at Iowa but the last couple years he's been nothing but Joe Pa to our team. A sentimental figurehead. Let him stay in some form but get DC that can get out and recruit. He's like a girlfriend we let hang around way too long. Gauranteed the other coaches use his age and condition against us.
KF is so afraid of his team making mistakes he helps perpetuate them. Again IF he is making the majority of these calls he's just not good at it.
