It really does amaze me how confident these guys are with a program that has experienced so much turnover over the course of Lick's tenure. It seems that they can really score the ball which is much needed for this years team.

With all this "hype" I hope people aren't going to have high expectations going into next season, don't know why you would, but I'm getting a sense that many believe this class is going to take us to post-season play next year for some reason. I just don't want any of you to be disappointed again next season if this YOUNG team struggles once again. Keep in mind we will be young still. You should maybe expect somewhere around a 12-15 win team and not a 20 win team like I'm sensing from many of you.

They probably see a golden opportunity to be an impact player on a Big10 team, quickly. And they knew Iowa was going to be young and shorthanded and take a pounding quite a bit, so they're probably not shocked by anything they've seen.

Totally agree! I am interested in the class coming in but its the same old chicago suburbs and small school Iowa class that always comes to Iowa and I will do you one better and predict a 13-16 win season...
