Do you guys think he'll get touches this week and we finally start to see a number 2 guy start to step up at that spot and take pressure off of marcus?
 




I won't believe another RB gets a carry until I see it or any before 3 min left in a game that's out of reach

If I recall correctly, we were up by 10 with 3 mins left. If that's the case, you don't have to go back to far in our history with NW to see that's not safe.

If we were up by 17 at that point then I'm just wasting everyone's time which could be the case.
 


I hope DeAndre gets some carries this week. I thought he showed some good burst, speed and moves against Northwestern in very limited carries. Would be nice to see what he has in the middle of the game and get him into a rhythm.

I love Coker's battering ram style, in particular the last 2-3 games when his feet have looked much quicker...but have you noticed most IA fans have commented in the same vein (as you above) when every RB not named Coker gets carries? McCall...then Bullock...then Canzeri....now Johnson. And even Jason White looked serviceable and quicker than Coker in his 1 carry. And this isn't a criticism of your post, b/c seemingly all of us have made the same observation. I like what Coker brings to the table, but it'd be good to see another RB or 2 getting more carries, for both experience and as a change of pace.
