I just really wish some Iowa fans weren't complete idiots and realize that this game is far from a given every year, no matter what the circumstances are. I've been saying this whole week that it wouldn't surprise me to see ISU win because we don't have that good of a team this year..

It pisses me off when we have wayyy more talent than ISU and play down to our competition. Not just in this game, but plenty throughout Kirk's tenure. What compounds it is when we have idiot Hawk fans predicting a blowout (for the record, I said that I wouldn't be surprised to see ISU wins this game because I'm realistic) and bashing ISU in non-humorous or just idiotic ways because then I have to suffer the wrath of ISU fans being cocky as **** with me the rest of the day. I would just ask that some Iowa fans aren't such cocky idiotic morons.

Lol.. excuse me for expecting a top-10 performance consistently from a coach that is one of the top-10 paid. AND not constantly playing down to their opponent. Don't get me wrong, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Kirk and am very glad that he is our coach and wouldn't have anybody else, but the guy is conservative and loyal to a fault. To say otherwise is being block-headed.

You're excused. That's an unrealistic expectation.
You can't just plug an awesome coach into an otherwise 7th, 8th or 9th place Big Ten team and expect that team to be a perennial national title contender. Talk about drinking the kool-aid...
