Who will be the Number 2 QB?

It is too bad that so many guys get their hopes up to be a big-time QB, only to have the realities of circumstance rather than ability dash their hopes.

JVB will start the season and will play well, but if he struggles or gets hurt look out for Rudock plays at a high level and knows how to win. The program that he played for last season produced 18 Div I players last season alone great program.

I guess the conclusion I would reach after reading these posts (particularly Mr. Miller's) is that Derby, a great athlete, is playing out of position. Why the heck don't they move him to another position where he can contribute to the team? I don't get it!!!

I'll say one thing, Derby looks like a Big Ten player. He is huge!

From what I've read, Derby is the one adamant that he's not going to change positions ever during his college career and that he will be a Hawkeye. Too bad, because it looks like he easily could see the field playing another spot.
