Love the Uneventful Summer

Camp officailly starts today and the Hawks made it through the Summer without any off the field incidents. (Heiar was charged with OWI, but his accident took place in the Spring I believe).

When is the last time we didnt have a player suspended for the first game of the year?

I hope you realize that if something does happen before the start of the season that we are going to blame you.

That being said it has been nice not to see anyone from the team getting into trouble. Seems like a good sign.

If it makes you feel better I was knocking on wood the entire time I was typing my original post. I just hope that now we are in camp that the likelihood of a player doing something stupid diminshes between now and the first game.

I know there have instances in the past where this hasnt been true but it is probably the exception rather than the rule.

I'm less worried about players doing something stupid than I am about injuries at camp. Iowa can't afford that this year.
