Nicole Smith 6'3 from Rockton ILL Hononegah high school. Had committed to Wisconsin but changed mind when coach Lisa Stone was let go.

Bluder really has been doing a nice job recruiting. Nice to be pulling top recruits out of Wisky instead of losing them there.

Doesn't the LOI thing where once you commit to a Big10 team you can't switch to another Big10 team apply to womens sports? We dealt with it Brust from Iowa to Wisky and were ****** albeit not for losing a player but more for losing the battle with the Big10 front office.

I guess this and the Brust case will create a very big precedent and should open up fOSU football recruits.

Players change their verbal commitments all the time. That is all that happened in this situation. Can sign the LOI in November and after that is when the rules related to Brust change are applied.

The OP made the statement that the player had originally committed to Wisky so you could probably understand why I thought she had signed an LOI.

Why isn't there a separate forum for women's basketball for the people who can actually tolerate it?

I honestly don't understand all the dislike/contempt for women's basketball. I don't find the Hawks difficult to watch at all. They're pretty good.

So don't you think it would be nice to have a separate forum so you could get into more depth discussion about women's basketball?

I know I would like that to happen, but I'm sure that for Jon it would be a waste of bandwith, since there likely isn't a lot of interest on this site.
