Love the 6pm Start

It might not seem like much to some, but I think there's a big difference between a 6pm and a 7pm start, especially in mid October. We will get almost 1 hour of daylight for the game, which should mean warmer temps at kickoff. Plus the game will be over by 9:30 and not 10:30 and so most can get home before it's really, really late.

Should know the TV and start times for Tennessee Tech, Pitt and Indiana before too long, obviously will be 11am or 2:30 kicks.

An excellent point.

This is just a great development on so many levels. Should be beautiful weather and any extra juice needed to beat the Kitties this year certainly won't hurt.

I can't wait.

This is the year that Mr. Fitzgerald gets his much overdue a$$kicking from KF and the Hawks! Can't wait!!!!!!!!

I agree, this way I can assure myself that I will see an entire night game.. instead of being passed out face down, by the 2nd half, in front of the Fieldhouse with Budweiser cans scattered around me and a Big-"Behind" Turkey Leg bone sticking out of my mouth.

I mean.. not that that's ever happened before!

Average high temperature in Iowa City on Oct. 15: 67 degrees. Sounds like perfect weather to tailgate alllll day. Of course the last two years we've had October night games and it was frigid (Penn St and Michigan). We're due on that front and to beat the f'ing Wildcats.

College football night games are an abomination.

I think there may be some people who disagree.

Edit: I also had pictures of PSU's White Out, and LSU's stadium at night. I don't care how much any may hate the SEC (myself included), Tiger Stadium at night may just be the most intimidating environment in the country.
