7-0 SEC in BCS Title Games

Speed has nothing to do with it. Oregon was arguably the fastest team on the field, they just forgot to hit the weights to go along with it.

I will save you all some time

here is what people will post on this thread

they cheat they steal they are all easy schools yada yada yada

Yeah speed has nothing to do with it....

Will the SEC have a 6th team from their conference win a BCS title before the Big 10 has 2nd team?

Georgia, Arkansas, Mississippi State, South Carolina vs. Iowa, Nebraska, Michigan, Wisconsin, Penn State, Michigan State

Should be interesting to see.

Talent on the DL is what separates the SEC from other conferences. The difference is amazing. Kids like Dareus and Fairley just aren't in the other BCS conferences.

That's correct. In other conferences you have to be able to read and write to get into college.

i think that it was all about execution. auburn had an out- they could resort to power football if their spread style failed (which it did at times), oregon is a one act play- they have no other offense to go to. oregon averaged 300+ yds rushing per game and had 77 tonight. cam was the bulk of the auburn rushing attack, but tonight was held to below 30 yards.

Auburn's versatility on offense is what won the game. Iowa NEEDS this versatility to compete on this level.

Arkansas maybe, but on the Big 10's list i dont see another team being able to win it all in the near future.

Pretty amazing run by the SEC. It is hard to watch them dominate but not much to argue with. They keep getting it done.

Would have been nice to see USC not blow easy games during the PAC 10 season to see them match up with LSU and Florida a few years back.

I believe, but I'm not sure that Florida and LSU were the #2 teams in those games. If USC was in the NC game then it would have been USC vs Big10/Big12

Mississippi State is going to be nasty for years to come with Mullen at the wheel; however, that all changes if Miles goes to Michgan and LSU swoops for Mullen.

Its not SEC schools. The SEC has won seven of 13 BCS championships. The other six have been won by Florida State, Oklahoma, Miami, USC, and Texas, plus Ohio State's 1. Warm beats cold 12-1.

I thought it was a fairly even game. Each team had opportunities to seperate themselves and neither capitalized on them. I will say this though, it looked like Oregon had to work a lot harder to move the ball than Auburn.

Maybe Nebraska will help the B-10 in this category . . . (jeopardy music) . . . BWAHAHAHAHAHAH!

Oregon still had 450 yards of offense in that game. Seems pretty versitile to me.

Oregon shot themselves in the foot on multiple occasions, Two turnovers in Auburn territory, and then twice they had it inside the Auburn 10 and only ended up getting a field goal.

Auburn did not win this game because of they have (had?) superior team speed.

Maybe I'm reading this wrong, but they only had 1 field goal.
