Student Athlete Question

I am a former student athlete at the collegiate level and am curious what the mindset is with kids these days..

Do they think their on field stardom will carry them off the field when they make idiotic choices a la DJK, A-Rob, etc? Do they think they are above the law and can go free because they wear a certain number on saturdays?

but honestly, i think a-rob pretty much gave up on this season and didn't give a crap if he got caught or not
