Nebraska games...yes
Nebraska fans...oh no here go hell come

It's never been a better time to be a Hawkeye in St. Louis than today. But I can't get a word in edgewise over the gloating and taunting of Nebraska fans. They are killing Mizzou fans around here.

Thankfully,Delany made sure that the Huskers will be humbled thruout their first two seasons in the league with the toughest slate possible.
By the time next novembers date with Iowa rolls around they will be beaten to a bloody pulp...by OSU,PSU,Mich,MSU,Wisky,NW.....nice.

Husker fans are already the most humble sports fans in the nation. Ask any of them, they'll tell ya.

Kindof a crappy deal for Nebraska, but the only team that really looks "physically daunting" is Wisconsin. Not to say that we will roll everyone on the schedule, but it certainly seems that Delaney didn't want us to walk away with the title in our first couple of years in the league.

Should be a bunch of entertaining games, though.

MSU is beastly physical. Same with OSU...along with Wisky, and PSU.
Murderers Row...only NW is Big 12 style soft, but even they have played good physical defense since Hankowitz came from Wis.

I think that a couple of teams said that Nebraska was the most physical team that they had played this year. Can't remember exactly who it was, but I believe our S & C coach came from Iowa, and has done a remarkable job getting this team in good shape. I'm wondering if we will tweak some of the things we do to match up better with some of the Big 10 teams. I think that NE has a little more athleticism in certain areas than some of the Big 10 teams. I must admit, I was impressed with Iowa's speed on kickoff teams in the Insight Bowl.

Should be interesting to watch and see how we match up, and how the Big 10 teams match up with our offensive and defensive styles.

I believe those teams were South Dakota State, Idaho and Western Kentucky.

I'll give you a hint - not as well as you did against the Charmin-soft Big 12 North.

I went to the Nebraska and ISU game this year with a friend who goes to ISU and it was horrible ....We were just walking around looking for food and minding our own business when a group of middle age Husker fans started talking crap and trying to get into something with us.

While I will not even try to defend KSU, KU, and CU, it seems that often times ISU gives Iowa all they can handle, and congrats on your 3 point, down to the wire win over Missery.

You know what they say about those in glass houses? ;)

ISU hasn't given Iowa "all they could handle" for three years now, as the combined score over the last three games is 87-13.

You are correct. But it seems that ISU has won 7 of the last 13, and was reasonably close in 3 of Iowa's last 6 wins. Just sayin.......

You could also say that ISU beaten Iowa two times since 2002. Just sayin. What do you define as reasonably close?
