Q: What are your thoughts on Iowa QB Ricky Stanzi?
A: I think Ricky Stanzi is an excellent quarterback. When you look at his statistics, theyre as good as most of the top quarterbacks in the nation. His touchdowns to interceptions ratio is absolutely outstanding. I think he runs that offense exceptionally well. Hes very, very accurate I just dont see any weaknesses.
Q: Is Iowa difficult to prepare for because some players arent playing?
A: I dont think so. I think theyve got great depth. Thats why theyve had so much success at Iowa, and Kirk has done such a great job. Weve had injuries throughout the year, weve had more injuries than weve ever had. You move them over and move them up. Theyve got a lot of good athletes and I would expect them to have the depth that they can be very successful with.

A: Blaine's a very talented player. Hes got as a good an arm as Ive ever coached. Hes a very smart player. Hes very, very competitive, and I think hes very, very tough.
